So I got brave yesterday after years of debate with myself. Maybe it was having the 3rd that made me realize that there is nothing to fear. Maybe it was me simply being ready for something new,or realizing that I can be confident regardless of this one element of life, or maybe it was just something in the water yesterday, I don't know, but I finally did it. I chopped my hair off--really chopped it! And guess what...I am liking it so far. I am not in hair shock or anything like that--so far I have not cried or even been close to it. I am excited about the change and even though I may not keep it THIS short I think I will be wearing it short for a while. I was really able to get ready, from the time I got into the shower to hair and makeup done, in a matter of 20-25 minutes. It was wonderful!!!
Posting this is another manifestation of the fact that I am brave! :) So Taffy, this is for you. You can thank me later.:)
Before: Always in a ponytail. I think I actually DID my hair maybe once a month!

How the hair stylist did it yesterday: blow dried and a straightening iron.

How I did it today: hop out of shower, run some mousse through it and let it air dry-all the while playing with it because of the newness of it all and then putting a headband in.
